Fairfield Glade has it's own paramedic team and ambulance on
call 24 hours a day. They are located at our fire department
and security center. Our security officers are
professionally trained and certified, also offering 24-hour
protection for residents.

Cumberland Medical Center is located just 9 miles away
in the city
of
Crossville. CMC is a 182 bed regional medical center
with a 20-bed sub-acute C.A.R.E. unit. Fully accredited
by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of
Healthcare Organizations, our acute care hospital
offers special services usually not found in the
rural medical system. For seriously ill patients,
there is advanced medical and surgical services
including telemetry and intensive care units. For
other patients there is a
state-of-the-art outpatient program and same day surgery
unit. For elderly citizens, the CMC Auxiliary
sponsors the Lifeline program, which is a personal
emergency response system in their homes and is
connected to the Emergency Department at Cumberland
Medical Center. A full service clinical laboratory,
diagnostic, radiology, physical medicine and
cardiopulmonary departments support these services.
Cumberland Medical
Center recently opened a new Wellness Complex at Fairfield
Glade. In addition to being a fitness arena, the 25,000
square foot facility offers Mammography and Physical Therapy.
